Spindle Whorl; found in Great Britain

A lead alloy spindle whorl, biconical in shape with a central hole. Its most likely age is Roman to Early Medieval with both faces decorated using radiating and crossed raised lines running from the center to the outer edge.

A nice piece with red-brown patina. The central hole diameter is 11mm, with an overall diameter of 29mm. Weight is 26.8gms
