Cilicia, Ninica-Claudiopolis ; Time of Trajan. Circa AD 98-117Ox: Marsyas standing left, holding wine-skin over shoulder
Rx: She-wolf standing right, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus
Very unusual type and one I’ve never seen before. I found one example on CNG but it was somewhat larger than this piece at 18mm and 4.2gms. This one is quite a bit smaller at 15mm and 1.6gms (different denomination?) An interesting piece.
