Gallienus (253 - 268 AD) Ae : Flaviopolis-Flavias, Cilicia, dated CY 181 (253/4 AD)
Obv: ( … ); Laureate and cuirassed bust right
Rev: ( … ); Herakles standing right and leaning on club, lion-skin draped over arm; AΠP (date) around
Interesting type issued by a scarcer city. I found very few examples online and not a single one described the obverse or reverse legend. You can make out quite a bit of it on this piece. A decent coin but not a lot of patina. Still, definitely better in hand. 23.5mm, 8.2gms
